THE NEW VIRQ
This past year has been a true year of changes and opportunities. There have been occasional strong gusts and sometimes gentle breezes. The year has included many wonderful people, great customer encounters, skilled partners, new patterns and products, as well as planning the brand renewal and its festive launch.

A t-shirt collection was created based on men's requests. Our designer Tiina's summer stay on an island in Lake Saimaa left forest-scented in the collection.

Our clothing collection welcomed as many as 25 new delightful patterns, some of which appeared in several different colorways. The scarf collection completed in autumn charmed and wrapped in the softness of cotton batiste.
In November, we participated in the magnificent Finnish Design fashion show organized by Promodel at the Finnish Handicrafts Fair in Tampere.
In 2024, we have experienced both successes with shouts of joy and failures with sorrows; we've lived through new beginnings and endings too. Our journey hasn't been just a victory march; we have also faced plenty of challenges that have taught us valuable things. This diverse and quickly hurried year has given new opportunities to develop to be even better and has polished both us as people and our work processes. We thank all of you for your support along our journey!

Looking toward the future: Plans for 2025
We continue our journey with joy toward new adventures! Currently, we are building a new international online store, which will be welcomed with fanfare as soon as it's ready. The new online store will first be in Finnish and English, but we plan to offer other language versions later so that we can serve our customers even better and expand our territory. We hope to move to the new store in early 2025, so you'll get to test it then and hopefully experience an even smoother and more immersive online shopping experience.

Our product development team has conjured up a gorgeous dress model for the H-body type, and we're eagerly awaiting its launch! This has been requested, and it looks good. The photoshoot pieces have already arrived, and the results of the photoshoots will be published soon after the production batch is completed – stay tuned! Part of the clothing revolution is the addition of a 3XS size to the pattern making, designed to serve our petite-sized customers.
The year 2025 will also bring to the VirQ product catalog something that has once been part of our selection in the past, but next year they (too) will be our own design. You'll hear more about this by February at the latest. We believe you'll be as excited about these newcomers as we are here!
In January, we'll participate in the Finnish National Cross-Country Skiing Championships in Imatra. We won't rush to ski, but you can spot us from the banner along the ski track. We'll even make it to the podium! 😉 You can find more information about the event from this link.

Inspiring Art
The deconstruction art of Napinkulma aroused a lot of interest. Now that the building has disappeared from the streetscape, we are pleased to announce that in 2025 we will utilize our own display windows to showcase zero waste textile art in addition to other inspiring visual content! This is an excellent opportunity to highlight important environmental awareness through art and creativity.
So, it's worth choosing your evening walk so that you can see the city's finest display window, or at least the most colorful one! You are always heartily welcome to the shop when the doors are open.

During January, the boutique will serve with reduced opening hours:

Online store shipments will be sent out twice a week during January, so treasures will still travel to you swiftly.
From February onwards, we'll return to our normal daily schedule, and the boutique will serve
Mon-Fri 11-17
Sat 11-14
and online store shipments will be mailed three times a week.
